The Tamang Doctors Society(TDS) Nepal and Shanti Dil Foundation Australia jointly organized a health campaign in Chhyorten tashi tamang gumba , nayabasti , boudha . This campaign was held on 11th jestha thursday for one day targeting the group of Ama’s(mother group) and lama guru rimpochhye . This camp was held with the motto of providing the health check ups , distribution of medicine along with the programme of appreciation.
Shanti dil foundation is a well known non-profit group formed by Tamang doctor and others who are resident of Australia currently . On 11th of jestha , a one day health camp was successfully conducted in presence of members of TDS and shanti dil foundation australia.
The free health camp provided a wide range of essential medical services to the community. Skilled doctors, nurses, dental specialists, and other medical professionals conducted comprehensive health check-ups, ensuring that individuals received proper medical attention. A large quantity of medicines was distributed free of cost based on the specific needs of patients. Additionally, attendees benefited from medical counseling, awareness messages, and expert consultations, helping them gain better insights into their health conditions and preventive care. The camp also offered various diagnostic services, including blood glucose tests, blood pressure measurement, ECG check-ups, and other necessary screenings. To conclude the program, an appreciation session was held to recognize and encourage the contributions of all healthcare professionals, volunteers, and supporters who made this initiative a success. This health camp not only provided immediate medical relief but also raised awareness about long-term health management within the community.
Altogether around 120 lama guru were benefited from this health camp, and around 150 or more than that were able to get free check ups .
