Date: 2025-03-07

It is with immense pride that we recognize and celebrate the achievements of Bijay Tamang, a 4th-year MBBS student nominated under the Pakistan Technical Association Program (PTAP) by the Ministry of Education (MOE). Bijay's journey in the world of education is nothing short of extraordinary. Despite his early success in other fields, including being the BSc. Physiotherapy Topper at Kathmandu University (KU), securing the 3rd rank in BSc CSIT entrance, and pursuing BDS, Bijay chose to follow his passion for medicine.

His brilliance is evident in his numerous academic accolades, including receiving the Gold Medal from the Vice Chancellor of UHS, Prof. Dr. Javed Akram, for his outstanding performance in both Theory and Viva. Furthermore, Bijay has earned four distinctions in key subjects during his time at medical school – Physiology, Biochemistry (twice in the 1st Year), General Pathology, and Microbiology. n addition to his academic successes, Bijay currently serves as the Vice President of SYNCH QAMC in Pakistan. Bijay’s achievements are particularly significant for the Nepalese community, as his journey serves as a beacon of hope, inspiration, and pride for many aspiring medical students. Bijay’s accomplishments are a testament to his passion for medicine, his dedication to excellence, and his desire to make a meaningful impact. We, as a community, are incredibly proud of his success and look forward to seeing even greater accomplishments from him in the future.
