A free one-day health camp for senior citizens was successfully conducted in Mangaltar, ward no.9 of Roshi Rural Municipality on Saturday. This camp saw a significant crowd, with many senior citizens to receive free and accessible healthcare.
This camp provided a range of essential services to the elderly population addressing several key health concerns. They were able to receive general health screenings, along with crucial checks for BP and sugar levels. ECG was also performed to assess heart health. Recognizing the importance of mobility and physical well-being, physiotherapy services were available. Furthermore, dental services were also provided, ensuring comprehensive care for the attendees.
The event highlighted the importance of accessible healthcare for elderly individuals, especially in rural communities where such services may be limited.
The collaboration with the Roshi Rural Municipality was crucial, and the dedication of our medical professionals and volunteers made it possible to provide these much-needed services to the senior citizens of Mangaltar.
