Tamang Doctors Society Steps Up to Support Father in Life-or-Death Fight Against Bone Marrow Disease

Date: 2026-05-08

The Tamang Doctors Society Nepal has donated NPR 20,000 to support Mr. Iman Singh Lama Tamang, a 38-year-old resident of Kavrepalanchowk, in his battle against Aplastic Anemia, a serious and life-threatening bone marrow disease. The organization expressed sincere prayers for his speedy recovery and strength for him and his family during this difficult time. We believe small contribution become a source of hope for the family as family continue to struggle with the heavy financial burden of treatment.

Mr. Tamang was the sole breadwinner of his family and is currently fighting to stay alive for his wife and 9-year-old son, who fully depend on him. Unfortunately, no matching bone marrow donor has been found so far, forcing him to rely on expensive medications until his son becomes old enough to donate bone marrow in the future. Having already spent his lifetime savings on treatment, he continues his fight with hope for his family’s future. Well-wishers and kind-hearted individuals are being requested to extend support in any way possible to help save his life.
