"Dr. Ganesh Lama, a resident of Gokarneshwor-3, began his medical journey by completing his MBBS from Kathmandu Medical College in 2005. After gaining invaluable experience serving as a medical officer in rural Nepal, he pursued and successfully completed his MD in Internal Medicine from NAMS, Bir Hospital. Currently, Dr. Lama serves as a Consultant Physician and Assistant Professor at NAMS, Bir Hospital. He also extends his expertise to other institutions, including Gokarneshwor Nagar Hospital in Gokarneshwor-4, Stupa Community Hospital in Chabahil, and Shanta Bhawan Clinic in Boudha, ensuring quality healthcare in these communities. In addition to his professional commitments, Dr. Lama is the Founding Advisor of the Tamang Doctors Society of Nepal (TDS), a community organization established in 2021 with a focus on social causes. TDS has been actively involved in providing health and social services to underserved populations in rural areas. The organization also works tirelessly to support education and offers financial assistance to underprivileged children from low socioeconomic backgrounds. Furthermore, TDS plays a vital role in collecting funds to help financially needy patients access critical medical treatments, embodying the spirit of compassion and community support. Dr. Lama takes great pride in the impactful work of TDS, which reflects his unwavering commitment to advancing healthcare and improving lives in Nepal."
